Hey again! I wasn’t going to do a journal but I really want to get into the habit of being consistent with my updates/uploads, so, here we go:
I'm honestly pretty tired but my artistic spark has been coming back in droves. Sometimes faint and a bit to wrestle with, and other times overwhelmingly active with the many and all directions I want to take with my art. Am I complaining? Sort of, not really, just being honest with how my flow has been as of late. With that type of energy, I've been slowly working on the site and also finishing up some owed commissions as promised. I don’t have any WIPs I’m particularly fond of right now, so I’ll leave that up to the next journal entry.
But, switching the topic, I'm honestly super happy with how my site is looking so far. I was wondering why I keep going back and forth with being eager/reluctant to post- turns out getting rid of all of the older art was the core issue. Not that I care if it's posted, I just think now that I have a better grasp on how I want to format my stuff it's been coming along a lot easier.
I might make an archive section of my old work, but not sure because I have some complicated feelings about my older works beyond the topic of quality. Whether I do or don't, that decision will take for time for me to think about so don't expect an update on that anytime soon.
For right now though, I set up a lot of the pages that were unfinished before and remade some others. Now that the base is essentially set up and ready to go, it should definitely be a LOT less daunting to update the site consistently. I’m really excited to work on world stuff since I really went crazy with that page in particular, starting with characters.
But yeah, that just about sums it up! Before I go, because I have no where to put this yet: Here’s a mass update log I wanna implement eventually. Maybe I’ll make a small button for it on the main page, but we’ll see.
