AUTHORS NOTE: While I don't like some pieces shown anymore, I think it's still important to have them uploaded so I can track my progress and embrace my growth. I'd hope that this would encourage others to embrace the high and low points in their sketchbook journeys! This is the first time I've actually dedicated myself to a sketchbook and during this time I've learned to be more patient, and ultimately more trusting in the process and in myself.
This book helped me gain so much confidence in trying multiple mediums, whether it's one at a time or a collage of them. Beyond what I have here, I have this to thank for my ever growing vigor to grow, think, and get BIG with my future projects. I have many plans in store and if I can commit to this, we can only level up from here! >:P

Front and back cover, sticker bombed with love. Some fell off, faded, and the edges are pretty beat up, but it's whatever, at least it shows that I'm using the book!
Sticker bombed the inside cover too, plus some return info in case I lose it.
First page featuring my character Vermilion, done with marker which was kinda ??? with the paper, but I now come to love the odd speckling effect.
I ended up covering the marker bleed with index cards of me and my friends characters in more marker (in order: Heise*, Zombie, and Drac). The other page is of Ramone in his hypothetical form since his concept is still not yet solid, done with just pencil.
*Heise belongs to my friend Tainted.Sweet.Meats, he's also an Agren in my world.
Honestly, just nonsense stuff with Rudra because I was fixated on Miley Cyrus, mostly with color pencil! Ravenscroft was mainly pen and a bit marker to blend things in.
Started introducing more scrapbook-esque stuff into my book which definitely becomes more prevalent as the pages continue. I like keeping memories for me to look back on!

Another Vermilion drawing done in highlighter, featuring a random doodle dedicated to a gay bar I visited. The other page has some light drawings of Boris and a well-groomed Jhaara.
Before this point, I had taken a long break from my sketchbook but the flow was coming back. I decided to doodle a lot of Ravana stuff because I missed him. He's an oldie I should get around to using again, but other than that, random sketches litter the page.
Just a random lion I did with some warm-toned, multi-color pencils during my husbands interview (I was chilling on the floor LOL).
(PT. 1) There's a lot going on here, but this was one of my first, more interactive pages I've done. Featuring some Home Movies doodles, a children's toy-themed pillar Ru, and some random silly stuff between my ocs, Drac and Rudra.
(PT. 2) The flipped version with both the pillar Ru, now popping out of an apple, and another silly NSFW doodle of the boys being boys :.P
Some of the very first concepts of what are now my main personas, also known as The Self. While exploring I ended up doing a personal vent piece with graphite, color pencils, and some blending markers on the other page (also featuring my personas).
Not the best page, very bare but I was feeling a bit of an art block anyway, so whatever. Tested a cool rainbow paint stick I got from a sweetie in my server though!
An in-between page I couldn't really scan with the ones above, this one was formerly a painting I just couldn't save. So I folded it and doodled a bunch of sillies of myself!
More doodles to try and shake the art block away. Mainly silly things of myself being corny or generally bitching, all done in pen! The other page was just something edgy I did after revisiting a fave song from Breaking Benjamin.
This was a bit of an experimental piece I didn't think I was gonna finish but it came out so good and is still a fave of mine to this day. Again, featuring The Self. Mainly done in pen, some posca, and a really waxy pencil I found.
More Rudra art, now done with some type of children's pastel/crayon? Don't know but it was super fun to get my hands dirty again! As for the unicorn, I was testing out my friends charcoal pencil set which felt so nice to revisit since charcoal was my first love.
Celebratory page of my first-ever time taking testosterone and some doodles to go with it. I ended up bleeding a lot because I was being stupid and injected myself "COD" style LMFAO.
While I'm not personally a fan of the jaguar page, working with color pencils was an experience I learned a lot from! As for the chimera, I still very much love it and had so much fun adding all the fine details. Definitely gotta do full-bodies more often!
An entire page dedicated to my husbands antics in our everyday life, featuring one of his fave Sanrio character, Badtz-Maru! I love him so so much, my honey bunny! The other page is just a bunch of studies of different barn animals, the entire spread being done in just pencil. 
Speaking of my husband, he took me to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and OMG it was so HUGE!!! I was enamored with all the art and architecture, it was insane. I was definitely inspired to do some stencils and even began to paint a bit on the next page with gouache.
Being totally honest, I did this NSFW spread for the sole purpose of using the Type O Negative sticker that's been lying around for who knows how long. The page features myself with Rudra, and then Ru having a threesome with his play partners, Zombie and Drac.
Workplace-themed doodles of the bullshit that happens at my shop, not much to be seen but there's been some questionable things every now and then. Other than that, yet another cat-themed page done with gouache that I loved doing, definitely a fave page still!
A random test piece (done with marker) I pasted on after almost destroying the paper, which luckily had no further damages. On the other page, I pasted another loose doodle and drew a somewhat vent piece of myself themed after a Tallah song.
Art block hit again, so random doodles litter the page once more. Mainly centered around my own antics, then a random corner featuring a crazy convo with my friend Dom. The next was done in rainbow pencil, something introspective with myself.
Some random sketches of my old man Afanas, I still gotta make a proper ref but speculative doodles are fun too. He's had so many updates and my love for him only grows stronger! I wasn't feeling too artistic on the next page, but I enjoyed the therapeutic sticker bomb.
My boy, Conifer!!! Made with a recycled card, a bunch of poscas, some scraps, and the other drawings behind with markers! The doodle on the right was a collab between me and my homie Tainted.Sweet.Meats, he doodled and I just lined, shaded, and sticker bombed.
A random creature loosely based off of a chameleon, rhino, and maybe a bear in some sense? The other page is filled with some new residents for DOODLE TOWN, done in pen! I also pasted that museum ticket I lost from my date.
(P. 1) Had another dip and just ended up pasting more nonsense, plus some non-dedicated doodles done with metallic pens, decorated with some glitter glue too. The receipt is from another date I had where I got to try some of the best hot chocolate I've ever had!
(P. 2) Flipped version where I pasted some more doodles I did inspired from the dogs that visit my shop. So many fluffy babies, I try to pet every one of them when I can!
A tiger themed page, the bigger one made with color pencils and clay rock. The rest was done with some ContΓ© Γ Paris pencils. The neighboring page is of my beloved boy, Rudra, doing what he does best. Rendered with a mix of marker, color pencils, and glitter glue!
(P. 1) A filler page with some random, smaller pieces, stickers, and some wolves to test out a new set a poscas my husband gifted me! He spoils me rotten hehe.
(P. 2) Random writing notes I had originally taped over, plus a hidden kitty made with silly markers, also gifted by my hubby!
(P. 3) A random wolf done with some children's gel crayons, if I could capture the full I totally would. It glitters! The gel felt so good to blend with my fingers.
Originally, I was going to paint something but I messed up and covered it in black. So I pasted some mini pieces done with more ContΓ© of some hypothetical Agrens. One of the designs was later turned into the gal on the next page, Blair!
Finally got around to pasting my concert badge in my book, I decided to draw Captain Spaulding (rest in piece Sid Haig, you were amazing) after binging Rob Zombie movies with my hubs. I also tried out some crayon pens I was gifted, and they're SO FUNNN!
